Attorneys nominated for consideration are evaluated by lawyers already recognized in the same practice area and geographic region, and the results are compiled without any option for firms or individuals to pay for inclusion. First published in 1983, the guide has become one of the profession’s most established measures of legal standing; this year marks its 33rd edition.
