Sheridan Ross P.C. announced the addition of Eric A. Bomkamp as an associate in the patent prosecution practice group of its Denver office.
Bomkamp’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, mechanical and computer software industries. He has experience drafting patent applications in a diverse range of technology fields including wireless communications, semiconductor devices, and medical imaging. He has also counseled clients with opinions on patentability, validity, and infringement.
Prior to joining Sheridan Ross, Bomkamp served as an associate in the Washington, D.C.-area law firm Harness, Dickey & Pierce, P.L.C. He also served as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia examining patent applications in the semiconductor field.
Bomkamp earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He earned his law degree from The Catholic University Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C.
