Dave Walker, Paul Sung Cha Rejoin Sheridan Ross

Sheridan Ross is pleased to announce that Dave Walker and Paul Sung Cha have re-joined the firm’s life sciences and litigation groups, respectively. The firm also recently added associate attorney Trey Reed, who is working in the firm’s mechanical engineering group.

A registered patent attorney with a master’s degree in molecular biology, Dave brings expertise in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Dave works with clients through all stages of portfolio development, and he helps clients develop global protection strategies in highly competitive markets. Dave received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in molecular biology from the University of Denver, with a master’s emphasis on neuroendocrinology, and a law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

As a former in-house counsel for CoorsTek, Paul grounds his counsel in the day-to-day realities his clients face. A registered patent attorney, Paul partners with clients across a range of technologies. Combining his business and legal expertise, Paul helps clients navigate the complex pitfalls of litigation from initial filings and discovery through trial and post-trial motions and appeals. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in Science Education from Harvard University, and a law degree from the University of Denver College of Law.

In addition to David and Paul, the firm also added associate Trey Reed. Trey joined the firm after graduating from the University of Colorado Law School, where he also served as a student note editor for the Colorado Technology Law Journal. During law school, Trey also worked as a student attorney with the school’s Technology Law and Policy Clinic, where he wrote a whitepaper on drone policy for municipalities. Trey is a registered patent attorney who holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a law degree from the University of Colorado.
