Robert R. Brunelli; Copyright Law, IP Litigation, Patent Law, and Trademark Law

As head of the firm’s litigation practice, Brunelli has more than 20 years of experience counseling early-stage start-ups to multi-national corporations in trial and appellate courts and before governmental tribunals.  He has successfully managed and litigated hundreds of complex intellectual property actions in most Federal District Courts in the United States.  He has also been involved in numerous Federal Appeal proceedings, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and the United States Patent Office Board of Appeals and Interferences proceedings and in UDRP proceedings.

With more than 25 years of experience, Kovarik practices intellectual property law with an emphasis in patent prosecution, patent litigation, mediation of patent disputes and licensing of intellectual property rights. With his technical training in biochemistry and molecular, cellular and developmental biology, he represents innovators in the medical device and biosciences fields, as well as innovative commercial products, insurance related methods, sportswear, health and beauty products, food products and formulations, lighting devices, plumbing and water treatment facilities.

Sabrina C. Stavish; Copyright Law, Trademark Law

With more than 27 years of experience and a focus on brand management and strategy, Stavish advises companies in nearly every industry while protecting their domestic and international trademarks, copyrights and Internet domains. Her international practice includes Madrid Protocol filings, European Community filings and national filings throughout the world through a network of foreign trademark experts. She also handles domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Resolution Proceeding, and appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.

Miriam D. Trudell; Trademark Law

With experience in all areas of trademark, copyright, and domain name law, Trudell’s practice includes advising clients on domestic trademark protection and maintenance, including searching, clearing, filing and prosecuting. She also has experience with regard to Ex Parte practice and Opposition/Cancellation practice in front of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Lewis D. HansenTrademark Law

Drawing on almost 30 years of branding wisdom, Hansen excels at hammering out critical IP deals. He has substantial experience in establishing and maintaining domestic and international trademark portfolios, drafting and negotiation of licensing transactions, and brand development.  He is also involved with technology development and licensing transactions, particularly in the areas of information technology and computer software.
