Three members of firm’s Trademark team to serve on INTA committees for 2016-17

The International Trademark Association (INTA) has tapped three shareholders from the Sheridan Ross Trademark practice group to serve on select committees in 2016-17.  More than 3400 members of the association applied to serve on committees which help drive the initiatives and programs of the organization. John Posthumus has been asked to serve on the Famous and Well-Known Marks CommitteeSarah Schneider will serve on the Public and Media Relations Committee, and Miriam Trudell will serve on the Bulletins Committee.

INTA is a global association of trademark owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property in order to protect consumers and to promote fair and effective commerce. The association is comprised of more than 6,600 organizations from 190 countries. Member organizations represent more than 30,000 trademark professionals and include brand owners from major corporations as well as small- and medium-sized enterprises, law firms and nonprofits.
