Sheridan Ross was proud to host the July 2015 Blackstone Entrepreneurs Network (BEN) Company Sessions event at our Denver office. BEN is designed to help connect the state’s best entrepreneurs and scale-up experts with one another to collaborate, as well as to identify, promote, assist, and connect high-growth, high-prospect private firms in the technology, health, aerospace, energy, and natural foods and products industries.
Positioned as an audition for the business entrepreneurs, BEN advisors get a chance to evaluate prospects, provide feedback and offer to engage with next steps in the business/technology if interested.
More than 20 advisors, including Sheridan Ross Shareholder Sarah Schneider, participated in the July session which featured presentations from three emerging, Colorado-based companies: SchoolRunner, SomaLogic, and Madhava. Other notable BEN companies include Craftsy, PING Identity, and Cool Planet.
