DENVER – April 23, 2015 — Sheridan Ross P.C. Co-President Gary Connell has been appointed to the board of directors for the Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA). Connell will serve a three-year term working in partnership with the association’s staff on key issues impacting the more than 600 Colorado companies currently operating in the bioscience industry.

Connell has more than 25 years of intellectual property law experience within the bioscience sector including work in patent prosecution, technology licensing, patent opinions, and strategic counseling, with an emphasis in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and chemistry.
“The CBSA has worked extremely hard and with great success to not only attract but foster growth and innovation for Colorado’s bioscience companies by providing an infrastructure of services, advocacy, education and networking,” said Connell. “I’m honored to be asked to join this prestigious group of companies, industry leaders and the professional staff of the CBSA as we look to further the great work being done by so many outstanding people and companies.”
