The New Methods For Drafting Patent Applications Post-Alice

Bradley Knepper and Benjamin Lieb co-authored an article — the third in a series of six — that ran January 23, 2015 in InsideCounsel describing suggested approaches to drafting patent applications directed to computer implemented inventions post-Alice.  The article addresses how one can describe and claim inventions to potentially avoid or overcome challenges on the grounds of subject matter eligibility prior to submission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
