Theresa’s practice focuses on general legal and intellectual property consulting services allowing her to serve as an integral team member to the firm’s diverse clients.
Theresa’s practice includes patent prosecution, technology licensing, transactions, and strategic patent counseling, with an emphasis on biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.
With more than 27 years of practice both as in-house counsel and outside counsel, Theresa has experience in all areas of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secret protection and negotiating and drafting patent licenses. She also has experience conducting intellectual property audits, as well as due diligence relating to corporate acquisitions and mergers. Theresa has extensive experience in business transactions involving material transfer, supply, distribution, clinical trial, and various marketing agreements.
Also, Theresa is a member of the Sheridan Ross legal team selected by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 2009 for a 10-year contract to provide patent-related services in the biotechnology field.
