Seth Shockley

Seth Shockley is a trademark attorney at Sheridan Ross, where he supports clients in protecting, managing, and enforcing their brands across domestic and international markets. His experience includes preparing and prosecuting trademark applications, conducting clearance searches, and drafting Office Action responses before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Before joining Sheridan Ross, Seth gained valuable experience at Denver and New York-based law firms, where he contributed to trademark prosecution and litigation support, as well as initiatives integrating AI tools into legal workflows. He also worked as a corporate legal intern for a major franchising company, advising on trademark portfolio strategy and franchise documentation.

Seth earned his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he served as Online Editor for the Denver Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Seth is a member of the Colorado IP Inn of Court, the National LGBTQ Bar Association, and the International Trademark Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky, where he remains a proud Wildcat fan.
