Position Summary: Sheridan Ross P.C. is seeking 2-3 summer associates to participate in our 8-10 week summer associate program. Each summer associate will be sponsored by one of our practice areas participating in the firm’s program.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must be qualified to sit for the USPTO’s patent bar.
- Candidates should be motivated self-starters with superb communication and writing skills, a commitment to excellence and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical degree and/or work experience in engineering field, e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, life sciences, or chemical.
Practice area interviewing for summer 2025: Intellectual Property Litigation, Patent Prosecution (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences)

Base Salary Range: $2,200 per week
