Human Resources Administrator

Position Summary

Sheridan Ross PC is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and highly organized Human Resources (HR) Administrator to join our team. The HR Administrator will help create a positive employee experience and ensure the HR team operates efficiently. This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in HR administration.

Essential Functions

  • Cultivate a positive and welcome work environment
  • Resolve employee queries
  • Manage hiring process and participate in the onboarding process
  • Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to, timecard management, payroll, and reporting in Paylocity
  • Manage medical benefit administration including annual open enrollment
  • Manage HR testing and audit requirements
  • Help implement current and future HR policies
  • Organize and maintain employee records, electronically and paper files
  • Organize and maintain HR data
  • Take active part in HR projects
  • Assist HR Manager as needed
  • Stay current on relevant federal and state employment laws and other human resources compliance issues

Education

  • Requires a BA/BS

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in a professional office environment
  • Previous HR experience preferred

  • Knowledge of Paylocity a plus
  • Knowledge of labor laws a plus

Sheridan Ross offers a competitive pay and benefits package to full-time employees including health care benefits, personal paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) matching, discretionary bonus, parking reimbursement, and more.

This position has a flexible work environment, however there may be in-person requirements for activities such as but not limited to firm functions, training, onboarding, and team meetings.

Base Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000
