The Summer Associate Experience
Sheridan Ross is seeking a 2L law student with a strong interest in Trademark & Copyright to join our 8–10 week Summer Associate Program in 2027. You will be supported by our Trademark team and will focus primarily on trademark & copyright matters, while also gaining exposure to our other practice areas, including patent prosecution and patent litigation.
As a summer associate, you will get hands-on experience and meaningful mentorship while working closely with attorneys and technical specialists. This is a chance to build a strong foundation in patent law, develop practical skills, and get to know what practicing IP law is really like.

Qualifications
- Strong interest in trademark & copyright
- Demonstrate expertise in written and verbal communication skills

Program Details
- Location: Hybrid with in-person participation at our Denver office
- Duration: 8–10 weeks
- Compensation: $2,200 per week
