Autumn Hartman is an associate attorney who focuses on all aspects of trademark and copyright protection. Autumn’s work includes developing and implementing domestic and foreign prosecution strategies for clients in a range of industries. In her daily practice, Autumn handles trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, renewal, and portfolio management for clients. She excels at helping clients of all sizes create a comprehensive protection plan that incorporates their long-term and geographical goals.
As someone who appreciates the challenges entrepreneurs and business owners face, Autumn grounds her counsel in the financial and business realities her clients juggle on a day-to-day basis. Her practice includes helping clients in highly competitive spaces proactively protect their marks, often by using cease and desist letters and DMCA takedown notices. Autumn also has experiences with TTAB actions, trademark prosecution, consent agreements, and litigation.
While in law school, Autumn worked as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where she law clinic work included counseling clients regarding corporate formation and compliance issues, intellectual property matters, and employment agreements. In addition to her time with the clinic, Autumn also worked as a legal intern with the Denver City Attorney’s Office, First American Title Insurance, and Amicus O&M Cooperative. Autumn holds a law degree from the University of Colorado Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma. While in law school, Autumn served on the University of Colorado Law Review and was a member with the Business & Tax Law Association.
