World Trademark Review 2017 honors firm and attorneys

We are excited to share the recent accolades and earned recognition of our Trademark and Copyright team in the 2017 edition of World Trademark Review.  Now in its seventh year, WTR honors leading individuals and firms through its Industry Awards which are based on research that includes more than 1,500 face-to-face and telephone interviews with trademark specialists around the world.

Here’s what WTR 2017 had to say about our firm and several members of our team:

As the oldest and largest IP firm in the Rocky Mountains, Sheridan Ross “deserves accolades for its position in the Colorado market”. The gamut of services is expertly provided, although its signature strength lies in securing watertight domestic and international protection for clients’ brands.

Boasting a wealth of experience in this regard, Sabrina Stavish leads the group with consummate poise. On the enforcement side of the equation is John Posthumus, a dab hand at all manner of disputes; he “delivers high-quality services and has a great reputation”. Currently sitting on the International Trademark Association’s Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee – and following a recent stint on the US Amicus Sub-committee – Posthumus is actively involved at the cutting edge of trademark law. With nearly three decades of experience in the field, Lewis Hansen is spectacularly proficient in the drafting and negotiation of licensing transactions, and skillfully develops the portfolios of companies in the brewing, software, clothing and electronic devices sectors to their fullest potential. Rounding off the set is the sage Miriam Trudell, whose broad expertise extends to domain name disputes, including Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy proceedings.
