Ms. Hirschman has experience in all areas of trademark law, and is a former Trademark Examining Attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

She has extensive experience in the areas of trademark prosecution and maintenance of trademark registrations filed in the U.S.P.T.O., as well as Ex Parte and Inter Partes practice in front of the Office's Trial and Appeal Board. Ms. Hirschman conducts trademark clearance searches, maintains, polices and defends trademark registrations, and prepares licensing agreements and intellectual property transfer agreements.

Ms. Hirschman's trademark experience at the international level includes Madrid Protocol filings, European Community filings and national filings throughout the world, as well as maintenance of international trademark portfolios through a network of foreign trademark experts.

Ms. Hirschman's practice also includes the filing and prosecution of copyright registration applications with the U.S. Copyright Office, Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Proceedings, and the drafting of terms of use and privacy policies for Internet websites.
