Summary of Practice:
Ian Walsworth is an associate whose primary emphasis is in intellectual property litigation. He also has experience in patent prosecution, including work in a variety of different art groups ranging from chemical to software to business methods. Ian’s practice also includes advising clients in the areas of copyright and trademark law, and he has experience with Opposition practice before the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In his practice he regularly counsels clients with regard to policing, enforcing, defending and licensing their intellectual property rights.

Prior to joining Sheridan Ross P.C., Ian worked as a controls engineer, providing services on a number of large-scale automation projects. His experience involved working closely with business and engineering professionals, from both privately held companies and international corporations. These experiences have allowed Ian to develop the ability to address objectives and provide solutions at all levels of the enterprise.
