Technology Transactions and Licensing
Summary of Practice:
David Walker’s practice is primarily focused
on patent prosecution in the general areas of biotechnology
and chemistry as well as technology transactions and licensing
of intellectual property rights. David has also drafted and/or
prosecuted patents in the mechanical area of technology and
in the area of business methods. His practice includes all
areas of intellectual property law, including drafting and
prosecuting United States patent applications, protecting
foreign intellectual property rights, analyzing domestic
and foreign patents, conducting patent searches, and drafting
technology related contracts and agreements.
Prior to joining
Sheridan Ross, David obtained his M.S. in Biology in Dr.
Robert Dores' laboratory at the University of Denver, with
a focus on Molecular Biology and Neuroendocrinology. David
also worked as a Laboratory Technician at National Jewish
Medical and Research Center and in the Neurology Department
at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
