Matthew Miller is an associate in the Litigation Department of Sheridan Ross P.C. His practice focuses on patent and trademark infringement as well as trade secret disputes. Mr. Miller has nearly a decade of experience as a civil litigator and has successfully handled complex matters in both state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining Sheridan Ross, Mr. Miller served as of counsel for McConnell Fleischner Houghtaling, LLC.
While in law school, Mr. Miller worked full-time as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Saundra B. Armstrong of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. He also served as a member of Law Review and the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Journal, a student-run journal providing commentary on current developments in all aspects of intellectual property.
Mr. Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of California, San Diego. He earned his law degree from The University of San Francisco School of Law.
