Ms. Gruber's practice focuses on patent prosecution for chemical, computer and electrical engineering. Kristen offers legal advice to clients on patent law issues in the United States and foreign jurisdictions.
Prior to beginning her legal career, Ms. Gruber's extensive background in engineering included work as a systems engineer for Lockheed Martin. As a systems engineer, she was involved in the design and testing of defense systems, as well as the design and testing of equipment for the International Space Station and Space Shuttle. In addition to a degree in chemical and petroleum engineering, Ms. Gruber also holds a degree in software systems engineering. Prior to joining Sheridan Ross, she served as a patent attorney for Osha Liang, LLP.
